RICK SHIRES was the Mini Truck trophy dash winner in his #42 machine last Friday evening, but he wasn't as lucky in the A-Main and had to be transported by Ambulance to Enloe. Fortunately, Rick was treated and released that same night and we're told he's already getting his truck back together for competition on June 2nd.

ZACK HACKETT (in the top right photo) is a former Mini Truck track champion at Orland Raceway, but he brought out his 4-cylinder Derby car Saturday for the Fair's annual Destruction Derby and he walked away with a first place trophy and check for his efforts.

Another day of wind is throwing my allergies into a tizzie! Everybody is so thankful this wind stayed away until the Fair was over. Just wish it would blow a little less than gale force winds.
I'll have the rest of the dash photos posted on our website as soon as Ken has time to work them into his busy schedule. Also points and results.
Have a great day!

My New Blog Site ...

Hey, friends!
I'm trying this new blog location because it allows me to add photos, which I could not do on the old location.
My original reason for creating the blog was to be able to share news & pix quickly, without bothering my web-guru. Well, now it seems that my wishes have come true! I hope you'll enjoy my new site as much as I'm having fun creating it.
My first selection of a very good photo is that of our 2006 track champions. From left to right are Olin Crain ('06 Mini Truck champ), Josh Jacobo (Wingless Sprint champ), Heather Bartlett (Mini Stock champ), Jerry Bartlett (Pure Stock champ) and Steve Barbo, your 2006 Mini Truck champion.
I'll post this new location on my old site, and continue to use this one indefinitely. Thanks for reading ... and stay tuned for more info!
